Hey Sal I have a question

I was just curious but is the steel used in the lock bars they same as the steel used in the blades. For instance is the Endura lock bar VG-10 or the Native lock bar S30V? If not what steels are used for these and other parts? Also what steel is used for the stainless slabbed knives like the Endura or Police? I was just curious. Thanks.

I would have to guess a 400 series steel is used.

Hi Sniper,

different steels are used in the locks, with the exception of H1, where we use the same steel at a different hardness.

They're mostly 400 series, usually 420J2.
