Hello Sal, it should be coming to me by next wednesday, i got the cetofante 2, the bigger version, full serrated, i'm looking for a stabber, and a light slasher, hence the serrations, and the fine point. I know this wasnt designed as a fighter, but let me say, it can pass for one. A couple things i need to know, first off, it has the new secondary lock, which i will fall in love with, will this secondary slide lock ever wear, is there any parts on the knife that will wear over time. Also, i know the liner/leaf is stainlees, is it a leaf lock, or liner lock(explain overall construction). And the last two, is the pivot adjustible, and does the clip screws screw into a steel liner, thanks a million.....Oh, i will give a review on it also.

You'll like it. Does yours have the silver button on it or the gold button??

Rage - I think you'l like it. I like mine. There are many subtleties in the design that take a while to understand and appreciate.

Shouldn't be much that could "wear out". Pretty tough materials in that knife.

Rage - forgot some stuff, sorry. Yes, the screws screw into the nested liner.

The stainless linerlock uses a ball bearing detent to keep it closed.

The "Securlok" is also nested (in the front side scale) intothe G-10 and functionis not visible.

The pivot can be slightly adjusted for tightness. Try to avoid taking the pivot pin apart as this will probably result in changing the adjustment of the eccentric "D" nut. Re-adjusting requires a special tool.

(I'm not sure of what a leaf lock is, unless it is just another name for a "linerlock" and is being used by some manufacturers to avoid using the name "linelock" which is a registered trademark of Michael Walker).

Steel is ATS-34.
