Hey Sal ....

I'd be down for that Sal, as long as there were grooves in the scales. Yeah, I know, we're impossible to please... :D

Hi Technician,

Eric and I have considered making a run of Titanium Endura's znd Delica's, but our thought was to retain the mid-lock-back rather than use a RIL (Reeve Integral Lock).

Sal, I'm not saying for good, just a quick run of it. If you two do talk about it again ....... For sure a frame lock choices that's all choicies

I'm pretty sure there was already a titianium delica that was released a while back but it was only avilable over seas? I could be wrong.

Yes, there was a titanium Delica sold in Japan. It looks very nice and I have only seen a couple of pictures of one.

I would like a mid lock as it currently is however a compression lock like the titanium Salsa would be great.

That would be pretty sweet if the titanium handles had a cool design or pattern milled into them

yes keep the midlock. I dont really care for liner locks anyway. I tolerate them. i love my ss endura, and a fully se ti version would be a very nice piece for the collection.
as to a pattern, i prefer the smooth scales one the ss endura it slides in and out of my pocket easily. which i miss alot when i carry g10.

with ti handles and upgrade in steel would be make it even more special, something seriously stainless. it would be like an endura from the future. i would have to have one. two if fully serrated is an option.

i cannot support this enough. almost as much as a ss handled yojimbo.

I'm not much for titanium (or even ss) handles. They seem more to increase the price than the function. I'd love a g10 or even frn handle to keep the cost down, with an upgraded blade steel. I'd rather put my money towards the blade than the handle.

We were thinking Damascus. Probably wouldn't keep the cost down though.

I think a more affordable way of adding grip without adding grooves to the ti handles would be to just bead blast them

Lol. Probably not. It will look awesome, though. Are you thinking Damascus all around? Blade too?

I never know what to do with knives like this. They're more like art than tools to me. I would be too worried of scratching it to actually use it. It's the kind of thing I would ooogle at but not buy.

On a side note, thank you Sal for keeping us in the loop. I love that things like this aren't secret.
