Hmm, Mine was shipped a week and a half ago. Starting to worry. Maybe some customs official has a nice new knife! :-(.

Nice pics jsp! I'll ask you the same thing as Louisiana, how tough/strong you think the knifes going to be compared to the xl? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just trying to get you guys to entertain me until mine gets here! I ran out of youtube videos! ;-)

Sad to hear that you don't have yours yet. In regards to strength, I don't abuse my folders. If you're comparing the Manix 2 FRCP Lightweight to an XL with G10 scales and stainless liners, of course the XL or even the standard Manix 2 would be stronger. G10 is some tough stuff!!! The construction is pretty much the same. The ball bearing rides on the back of the blade tang and that thick metal back spacer thingy in all models. If anything was to break, it would be the polymer cage lock release that would be the first to go.
