Hey to all from Bailey Bradshaw....

Thanks Steven, it's great to know I'm well thought of by so many old friends. The gun business is very busy, and I've had to hire an assiatant and was lucky to find a young man with incredible talent. My primary model is my falling block double rifle and I am currently the only maker in the world building them.

Here is a pic of a .450 3 1/4 I finished earlier this year. All of the work was done in my shop except actually making the barrels and color case hardening. Turnbull did the case colors on this one. I do that too now...too anal to send stuff out I guess :-)

Aaron, Your single shot is under way again. I redesigned the action and the improvements were significant enough to warrant starting over.

I,ve always enjoyed his knives, now I get to enjoy his guns. He is the most remarkable maker I know.
 
I thought custom knives were expensive until Bailey told me about his guns. :eek:

Even before he started making guns, I said that no one I know of has the range of abilities and creativity that Bailey Bradshaw has. One day he was making a super tight folder, then next a katana! And now guns, oh my.

Add to all this that on the few occasions I met him at shows he was one of the most generous and humble people in the room, always willing to talk and help.

I wish him (you!) nothing but the best for the holiday season, the new year, and many years to come.
