Hey!. . . . Who Melted My SFNO???? . . . . .

I doubt the prices on the older ones will go down much but I bet these will be hot commodities in the future. At least I'm able to get the newer version at the original sale price and with my preferences.

No way I would take an older one over a newer one. Just not happening. The future will hold a host of new variants, no need to dwell on what came before!

i just don't like that new meltdown nonsense especially after handling a nmfbm, which is a great knife, but all that chamfering just looks silly and i hate the feel of it on the spine... just my opinion.

The Meltdown line isn't for me either. However, live and let live right? That just leaves more for those who like the look and feel of the style.

I'd still rather have a fat, sabre ground SFNO. With the prices though - I'm not actively seeking one.

I agree,
When I saw the words meltdown i was like WTF?? noooooo. was hoping Jerry would chill on this meltdown stuff.. especially on the SFNO.. :(

then I read what the size of this blade is going to be... I need to at least handle this thing, so picking up at least one is essential...

The NMFBM is close to the perfect chopper, no question about it. meltdown or not....:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

but with that size blade, i would rather just have a steel heart...

i dunno, this one just doesn't make any sense to me.
