I didn't buy the HG55LE for bushcraft. I bought it as a "companion" knife (knives designed for offense or defense may not be carried concealed in Georgia). I will carry it on my belt as soon as Rainwalker finishes my sheath. But the knife does have some utility. Just sharpen it a little. This should do:
Time for lunch. Love those Granny Smith apples. The HG55 is not the greatest slicer with that thick blade, but it will do in a pinch.
I do sorry curls anyway. Down here we use palm fibers and pine cones to start fires. But it can do it. It ain't a Mora.
The knife can cut. I'll be using it on my steaks at Blade.
