HG55LE #63 Is Here!

What a nice way to enjoy my morning coffee. The sweet postal lady brought this to my front door while I was still in my woodland camo bathrobe. She loves me. I just know it.

It feels great in the hand out on the back porch.

The blade was too long for my Ratmandu sheath. And the keeper on my Buck 119 sheath didn't fit right. But my pouch sheath for my Mountain Man Dag works just fine for now!

I'll have Rainwalker make me a nice sheath for it. If y'all see a fat old gray haired man cutting his steak with HGLE #63 in Atlanta at Blade, that would be me.

Thanks all. Now to let yall know how I feel about the knife.

1. I like the way the handle widens toward the rear. It provides a secure grip when slashing. There is a slight palm swell in the scales, too, which feels very good.

2. The jimping on the spine is useful in the saber grip and when choked up on the choil.

3. The balance is on the first finger, so that even at 11 oz, the knife is fast in the hand.

4. This is by far the sharpest Busse I ever bought, with a hand finished zero convex edge.

5. The slight downward angle on the handle centers the point in a thrust.

6. The flat pommel gives my thumb a good purchase in the reverse grip or stabbing mode.

This is a great knife. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
