Hi all just a quick ? about handles ?

My wife got me some wally world knives for Christmas this last yeay the knid that come with 3 to a pack anyways the fixed blade in the pack wasnt half bad I just dont like the handles here is the link

anyways Ive removed the pins from the handles but the handles wont budge is there a way to remove them from the knife ?

you will want to heat the epoxy or whatever is holding the scales on a bit to loosen it up, then use something like a paintscraper to pry in between the liner/tang and pull them out. Try to work from both sides so the scales stay parralell to the tang, which will make them easier to pull.

Its not exactly an art, it just takes a little finesse and a little brute force.

If the pins are already out, a hammer and anvil works great. Don't forget to tape the blade and guard.
