For collectors of Himalayan Imports khukris, here is a pair of grail knives.

As you know, Bura was the Royal Kami of Nepal and his khukris are considered by many to be the best. He also has stopped making khukris several years ago due to his health.

The "Movie Model" was Bura's interpretation of a khukri-like blade he saw in a recent Hollywood film -- I believe it may've been "The Mummy." The Movie Model is very unlike other khukris for several reasons. It is specifically designed for aesthetics, making it a functional art piece with streamlined curves. It also is one of the few khukris made with a sharpened double edge. This is not a utility khuhri although it is indeed sturdy enough to chop down a tree if need be. It is a straight up fighter -- lightweight, agile, and deadly. I am not joking -- these are not for mall ninjas -- these are serious swords that are extremely dangerous to the careless, even if you're just wiping them down (I cut my thumb open doing just that). Bura made very few of these -- I'm thinking only 4 or 5. This is easily my favorite HI blade. Both are approximately 20.5 inches OAL and approximately 28 ounces. Both have Bura's distinctive crescent moon kami mark.

One has a horn handle, the other is sisau wood. Both have been refurbished and sharpened by Steve Ferguson. These will slice through a cardboard "triangle box" like slicing through air -- with either edge. Stupid sharp. Very dangerous swords. Be extremely careful with these.

This pair has been hanging on the wall of my last two apartments. Unused except for the initial test cutting and kata. Better than new (sharper and prettier). Beautiful, rare, deadly.

I strongly prefer not to split these up. I will sell the pair for $400 which includes shipping and insurance. As you know, these are expensive to ship. I prefer to ship CONUS only and strongly prefer a USPS MO, although I would accept PayPal.

$400 is a good price for these and my price is pretty firm. Not particularly interested in trades at this time. Will try to get pics up tomorrow.

Thanks.
