I have an unused HI Cherokee Rose bowie for sale. This is an enormous knife/short sword with a handle that allows for a variety of grip options. It feels like a very large fighter, powerful but fluid. I've never cut anything but air with it.
Here is the HI website verbiage: Designed by Yvsa, a Cherokee Indian and the creator of the YCS-khukuri, the inspiration for the Cherokee Rose was his love of the old Scagel Knives. Modeled on a Bowie knife, representative of America and one of the world's finest fighting knives of all time. about 20 inches (13 inch blade)
Price: US$245
Here is a link to the pic on the HI site. Mine looks similar, but has slightly lighter wood and is about 21".
This is a fighter, and I want a heavy chopper. I need to reduce my goods since I will hopefully be leaving for graduate school this fall. $150 shipped or will trade for one of the new HI Cobalt/Munk Bullet Bowies.
PM or email to JRShirley(at)gmail.com.
Thanks,
John
