hey all

i have been browsing for a while but finally signed up. have long had a thing for knives, and had a somewhat crappy collection. I only recently started looking into what makes a good knife a good knife, and only recently acquired some "knife geek" ones that really fit my needs : )

namely, Spyderco Salt I, BM 556, Becker BK2, and a Paul knife from my future-father-in-law (3rd yr, stainless).

anyway, just wanted to introduce myself, and say hello.

Hi Doctor Nick!

Get a Sebenza, Hinderer XM-18 and anything Busse right away and you will be ahead of the game.
 
ha! thanks for the advice, will have to see if my wallet can take those hits (it can't and I know it).

and actually, as of like a week ago, it's actually "Dr. Bruce"... finally graduated med school and starting surgical residency in less than a month. where i get to play with really, really sharp little tools. : )

Congrats - sounds like after too long you will be posting about the extensive custom knife collection you will be amassing.
