3.The Tec-loc & strap can be switched around for left handed strong side carry or cross draw very versitile.

4. Josh; I have lurked a lot but I will try to be more active here, I am very active on the Busse Forum (If we could just get tons of fun to make a Khukuri)

5.Daniel; come to the Dark Side :D Kydex is the way & the future ;)

6.VML ; yep the strap is for added saftey especialy if you are running through the jungle.

7.Svashtar : It is a Cold Steel HTC Kukri a 15" er
It ran the customer 58.00 + 10.00 shipping = 68.00
I usually need the knife & on the HI stuff I for sure will need the knife because they are all hand ground right?

Once again guys thank you very much for all the complements :)

im not sure how much the cold steel weighs, but on say, an 18" ang khola that weighs around 2 pounds, bouncing up and down lets the 2 pounds gain a pretty good amount of momentum, wich could lead to it seperating from the sheath, as there is no back. while it may not be a problem, the threat of 2lbs of steel backed cutting edge falling out onto your theigh, knee, calf or ankle is never one to take lightly

even if you curved the kydex around so you really had to break the ricasso area free from it, id probably still want the strap to be there

Just a note to the curious: the knife shown above is mine, I sent it to David to get the sheath made. He's super easy to deal with and his prices are very reasonable. You can check out his work on his site, www.buybrownholsters.com

Be Well,

Mike in LA
