I live in Turkey / Antalya, I am a Technical Teacher in Metal Technology division. I make knives for a long time as an amateur. I offer an example of the knife to your liking. Yours truly.
Again nice work. I really like the handle on the second one. Any chance of another pic of it showing the handle? What is the custom knife scene like in Turkey, are there many makers, any traditional knife forms?

Let me answer your questions first. In Turkey, there aren't many knife makers in Turkey. And about traditional knife forms.. Blacksmiths in different places still makes different types of traditional knives.

Very excellent Assuva, do you hand hammer your damascus or use a powered ram? and what materials as far as blade steel do you commonly use? You are a very talented knife maker.

At first, i usually do with hand hammer. And then, powered ram. Sometimes only with hammer.
When I'm making damascus, I generally use 9260 and pure nickel, 9260 and AEB-L,...
