Handle doesn't appear to be pinned. Might be just a case of heating the laha and reversing the handle.
Maybe not simple, but not all that challenging to some of the folks here.
As Yangdu mentioned, the blade was the kami's own design.
The Ginunting is a multi-purpose blade. The forward curvature is designed for efficient chopping and of course the pointed tip is for... playing sword tag?
Anyone got any links to the Ginuntings HI is offering up? I don't seem to be able to find it on the main site?

ummm...it looks like the edge is on the wrong side. traditionally, a ginunting has it's edge on the recurve side.
