After double checking my email against Yangdu's post, it looks as if the Ang Khola will be GTT:D. I was thinking what a sweet khuk that is, because I used to have a 15" AK villager that was one of my very favorite users. However, that one went to Iraq to help keep one of Sarge's knuckleheads out of trouble. This one looks like just the thing for an old geezer with carpal tunnel syndrome, and judging from Yangdu's vacation pics it is a workhorse.
Of course, this means there are now officially too many khukuris here (a term invented by SWMBO). So I will have to look around and find something nice that's taking up too much wall space and set it aside for the next Ram Raffle. That should appease my bride, spin the karmic wheel, and get me a neat little chopper:thumbup:

Just sent out an e-mail before reading through all the posts and finding out that it's 11PM NINE hours earlier where Aunt Yangdu is. Oops. Congratulations to the lucky winners!
 
Makes two of us I guess.
Oh well I've got a nice one to look forward to, although nothing quite like a free HI blade.

I definitely need to check in more often! Haven't been posting as I'm trying to concentrate on finding work, and browsing here is a definite distraction. (-: Just checking in for 5 minutes quickly leads to a couple of hours.

I've been trying to snag a chiruwa WWII for years, and this was a nice one. Congrats to the winners.
