HI! help needed here

You may have one of the early Specwars that were `true satin' finished. These blades would be hand ground and satin finished, not coated or plated.

Emerson Knives, Inc. recently offered 4 factory original, partially serrated, satin hand ground, tanto Specwars for sale for $395.

Attached picture from Emerson Knives website to illustrate.

Thanks for the help. I am starting to really like this knife, it is built like a tank. The only thing I can find so far is that the blade was hand-rubbed to a high-polish BEFORE the logo was stamped. I have taken it apart and discovered it has much thicker liners than a standard 98 Specwar. Dirk, buddy, the edge is great. Thats just the Camera playing tricks;) ;)
Well, I was gonna trade this for a commander, but now I have just ordered a commander and a Mach 1. If this is the way Emerson makes knives, I GOTTA get me LOTS more of these!!!!!:D :D wolf

BRP, your picture IS the EXACT knife, although not a Tanto. I just cannot take a good enough picture of it. Sadly, the one in my possession has been well used, and not in 100% condition. But, I have been carrying it everyday since I got it and it is one high performance tool. I am SOLD on Emerson....Thanks for the help.....Wolf
