It off to work I go!

I just landed a job at a big shop that sells Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Bombardiere, and Victory. Looks like I will not be posting much here for a while until my training is over, but I will try to stop in every couple days.

I'm done with commissions too. Last one went out the door last week. I got a bobber project I'm working on for now, and probably won't make any knives again until Fall. If anyone wants to harass me, please email me through my website.

IG... I got a Yamaha with you name on it! :D :D

Good luck with it, Jeff! I hope it's something you will really enjoy.

Guess you found out real quick making a living doing custom knives isn't a very productive money maker although a great hobbie. Good luck with the new job!

More power to ya Jeff. I guess this means postponing a move in your future. Looks like I'll still be down South when ya get here.

Have fun and lots of test rides.

well i guess im not goingto get a nice new taper anytime soon then:D
hope to see you around here now and then

Good deal on the new job Jeff,,,,to bad it wasn't a Harley dealer,,,,but at least Bombardiere is made in North America anyway :D

I guess neither of us will be at IG's this Saturday.

The wife and her sister are plotting to get us down to St. Augustine, FL. Pretty nice down there, but it ain't like Dixie imho. Not sure what, but we are planning on putting our house up for sale in September. Meanwhile, I need to work my tail off to get some better cashflow coming in. Hope this works out. :)

OK Jeff now you have money coming:thumbup: no excuses now..
H/I is this Saturday you signed up...:D

Good Luck Jeff,
Now if you could just talk my ol' lady into my getting a motor again. . .

She says that she is too old for me to have another bike.

I like Rice powered crusiers, For the difference in price, you can keep the ol' lady in "toys" and the batteries to run them for years.

hey with an inside man we all should be able to get a discount right??:D
sure wish they made the Kawasaki like they use to when they were a two banger ( 2 cycle) with trip cylinders I think the 69 was that last of them
that 500 would walk all over any 750 4 cycle on the road then..

Zooooooomm I should say ziiiiiiiiiiiing ziiiiiiiiiiiing:D :D

Congrats Jeff! So what kind of deal can you get me an a nice clean GPZ1100?:D Hope you enjoy the new job (and having money again...) Good Luck and have fun!

Yep!!! I do and I mark my spot where ever I go. But I'll still take my 1947 Indian Chief over any piece of $hit rice. Please show me a 59 year old riceburner that doesn't leak. OH!!! That's right, rice is like a Bic lighter once you burn them out you throw them out. :jerkit: :jerkit: :p HEHEHEHE!!!!

Yeah Dan,
I rode a lot with a friend who had one of those 3 cyl. 500's. If I didn't beat him with a 2 gear down shift (to his 1) to pass I couldn't keep him in sight with my mildly modified Honda 750/4.

My older 2 cyl. Suki 500 would run with any 4 stroke 750 back in the early 70's except maybe a Norton.

the 69 cowy had something that the 70's and up in any model didn't have

being a two cycle with oil injection once you took the baffles out of the
exht pipes  I dang near flipped it in a wheelie it was so quick the first time I did that,,
