Jeff congratulations, once you get yourself settled in you may be able to find the mythical suzuki timming chain. I forges a timming chain once, well a couple of them in the same year. I was told they were suszuki timming chains.
However the person telling me was given them from someone else. Anyway
they are not the normal open link like on a push bike ore traditional chan ans sproket. they were multy layers with the outside edge flat and a corigated side facing the cogs. The trick with them was tolay the 2 corigated sides together and fold them around so that you had 4 layers. weld them face to face and you have a sieries of pins running through and a set of wavy lines and just generaly a grat looking piece of damascus with very little work.

Again good luck on the new job.

When I bought my Indian 34+ years ago it was a Chopper. Man was it a bear to ride, foot clutch on a left handed hill was my downfall and now it's you. HEHEHEHEHE!!:jerkit:
