Wow.....I want.

We need to have a crying smiley. Nice score, whoever got this one!!!

DAMN.

Should have requested this instead of smoke. Sincere congratulations, as well as a request for address and times house is empty, to whoever snagged this one.

Someone just saved me a lot of money...been waiting for one of these for a long time. Congratulations!

Holy Moley! Can whoever got that post a pic of it "in hand"? I've always wanted to see what one looks like in action.

Would some kind sole please explain the function of the side pieces on the handle. Why do they go back so far? I must be pretty dense; they just don't make a lot of sense to me. Either way katar's are cool!

For HI Falcata owners who thought their collection was complete, the unobtainable HI Katar re-emerges from history. :p

Here's hoping there are more...

lets see a hard use review.side bars are to protect arm and parry blows in battle.

I'd also like to see this one in-hand.

locks it against your forearm so your wrist isn't taking the brunt of any sideways twisting motions, I believe. Also does double duty as a guard.

Man, I bet I would command a whole new level of respect if I showed up at the next office meeting with one of those.

First one I've seen in my relatively short time here.

Thanks. That's what I figured they were for, just wanted to be sure.

There's a picture floating around somewhere of me finishing a backswing against a gallon bottle of water with one at Gin's place.

They *are* just as frightening as you might imagine...one easy backhand, cleanly through the jug.
