Hey guys:

well, the HI khuk bug bit me, and I gave in.

bought a 25" siru by sanu, and an 18" wwII khuk by kumar yesterday from Uncle Bill. Absolutely love the guy! Gave me great deals on both. I can't wait for the UPS guy to get here.

This is a great forum, with lots of informative stuff, and friendly peeps!

Congrats!
It's nice to see another person who will invariably become a "carrier" of HIKV! :p

bwhahahaaa!

Welcome. Be sure to read all the reviews.

Then, go give it a shot and tell us how your 25" Sirupati fairs in-the-field.

I can be cured...really...there must be a cure...there must be...(already contemplating another 25" siru and another wwII model as I write this)...

...NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

as for field testing, I live in NYC, so I'll only be swinging these khuks and maybe killing overgrown rats with these.

But if I go to my in-laws' farm, I'm sure I'll find something.

Keep an eye out for a swirl of black feathers and the smell of...well..dog tacos.
The Dark One is everywhere.:barf:

Welcome, you've been HIKV''D:D Live in Brooklyn , you should be able to find some one with an empty Lot they want too clear out,and you can take a swing at the Rat's when they explode out:D

I've been lurking on this forum for a few months, and looking at Uncle Bill's line-up of khuks for a while. After a lot of comparisons and the assessment of my needs (tool and otherwise), these are the best ones that meet my needs.

I looked at those models as well, but I figured that I knew what I wanted, so I just went for it. :D

Yep, you did everything logically...in the end, though, it will be what feels right in the hand which will tell the story.

What are you going to do with a 25" sirupati? I bet you could make a cane break with that.

Munk:

based on the recent thread on a 20" siru, I have a feeling that cane can be sliced and diced with my 25". I know when I get to my in-laws farm, they'll freak when they see it. But, if I ask them if I could help out with chopping/clearing chores...I have a feeling they may send me back to nyc without my new siru. :(

4 Ranges

Where is your civic spirit? You should offer to blaze a new jogging trail through Prospect Park. :)

Welcome to the forums.

sadly, I'll probably get arrested before I can express my civic spirit at the park. :(

Thanks for the welcome! I'll keep the forum posted as to when I received them.

Welcome to the cantina. You sure will like the WW11. 18" of blade and handle that you will just fall in love with. The 25" I feel is just a bit long for me, but some of the forum sure seem to like those long blades.
Sure hope you enjoy them as much as I do. and, Welcome again to the forum.;) :D

No Bruise, that isn't quite what I ment even though that is probably what it looked like. All joking aside the 17" by Kumar that showed up with the 18" outweighs my 15" AK. The 18"er is an absolute beast and I love it. Uncle Bill sure didn't joke about this thing being a work horse.:) :)
