Actually it was Kozak who nominated JKM for the memorial roll and he should receive the credit. I definitely don't object to the nomination - only that he thought of it first! BTW, being confused with Kozak seems rather a compliment, by my book.

Good work, Mohd!

I will nominate J. J. T., as oldest HI khukuri customer (12+ years). JJ owns more than 80 HI khukuris in his collection of 200+ khukuris and is an expert on Eastern blades of all types. He lurks but never posts.

The reason I don't give his full name is because of his very extensive knife collection. His identity might set him up as a target for theft and this I don't want do do.

Also, Ray Chiappelli is second oldest HI customer who has about 50 HI khukuris to his credit (he has probably given half his HI khukuris away to friends and relatives! Another very good guy!) and has two on order. Patience, brother!

Yvsa is Cherokee traditions and customs expert and also design and model making consultant.

That is enough for today. I can see this is going to be an ongoing thread updated as necessary.

Ooh! Sign me up, sign me up! I don't know what I'd be designated, maybe "pet ferret"?

Anything but "lady who makes the tea"!

Novadak, how about "HI Sharp Lady" in recognition of your affection for sharp objects?

Gee, not that I'm feeling left out or anything, but long ago Uncle Bill _did_ declare me the official HI naval historian.

You know I have to ask my office colleage on the meaning of “Pet Ferret”! --- he told me that westerners are used to test bravery by putting a Ferret down the trousers … are you sure that you are daring enough to perform that test?

Julian … is he the 1st one to break the HI record by breaking the tip of his 18th Century?
Cobalt … is he the designer of HI AK Bowie?
Dwayne Lindsay … is he the Game Ranger who perform an extreme stress test to HI Khuk?

Why not we nominate Pala as the HI Honorary Advisor & Sonam as the Gorkha Story Teller?

Also, let's add Bob Irons to the HI Memorial, since he passed away several months ago.
