Ville Emarde which is a small city immediately south of Montreal Quebec .
Used to be a lower middle class stable area that now has more poor people as they are moved out of built up areas . One or two nice parks to walk the dog . Not much in resources except for the resourceful (is that oxymoronic). Lots of laneways and gardens . A disused barge canal that is being repaired to entice the boating crowd . Another place to walk the dog . Five minute drive to sports complex with my archery club .

Beautiful Fredericton, New Brunswick. My house is a couple of blocks away from the St. John river, and an hour and a half from salt water either in the Bay of Fundy (frigid but beautiful) or the Northumberland Strait (warm, but the scenery's more boring).

Hey all,

I was just looking at all these great posts in response to Yangdu's email, and was seeing responses from all over the world which was really interesting. Of course I know we have an International forum, but day to day it's kind of forgotten, and also some folks don't list their actual location.

I thought it might be fun just to see where everyone is writing in from; kind of a concentrated feedback at a glance in a single thread. Every corner of the world where HIKV has spread so to speak!

Yeah, that was ... sweet! I like the one with the white/black camo stock though which is kind of cool but not that practical maybe. I think they want $1575 for that black one. I got my S.A Garand there as well, but that was my last buy from them. Their prices are usually a bit better than Markley's, although they are great guys there (ex-CHP.)
