"The Antique Traders & Export is the one of the reputed and popular company in Nepal. "

I wonder how they fulfill orders for some of these blades.

well, we can take comfort in the fact that there is no way to actually purchase 'their' items... yet.

I'm sure richard branson will love having one of his airplanes featured on there as well (virgin airlines), seem to have a lot of fine antique products there with lovely photos, can't wait till i can buy some:yawn: :thumbdn: :thumbdn: :thumbdn:

i think i will send them a nice email telling them we have reported them to the nepali secret police for being a criminal front for the chinese backed communist guerilla's intent on blackening the good name of proper hard working royalist industry and commerce by stealing and using other peoples work in an obvious and childishly crude fashion.

Capitalism is great. Theft is not.

Once before I saw a calendar site that was using HI pix, and posted the link.

Unbeliveable.

¡Cabrones! No se puede usar nuestra fotografias, coño!

About all you can do is curse.

Gotta love that FAQ...

How do i payment?

Which is just a link to:

mailto:%20handicrafts@antiktraders.com

Just like the rest of the FAQ...

I sent them a polite note, pointing out the copyright infringements, which I'm SURE they were unaware of. We'll see what happens.

Unbelievable!:thumbdn: They must be running a scam to steal people's money, because I doubt they could make anything resembling the HIs in the stolen pics.

At least they could have thieved a better Khukuri pic of mine...the pic they have thievedmarked atk-08 I took a long time ago in film:thumbdn:

I'm most amused by the fact that the pictures appear under their 'khukuries' section... but they include pictures of katanas, a tarwar, and the cherokee rose, as well as a few pictures which show nothing except for a handle.

Anyone want to buy a handle? may or may not fit something you already own!

Is this site for real. You can't click anything. Its terrible they'd steal the images though. The world wonders why the good ol US won't give up control of the web (we invented it).

WHY COPY HI KNIFE PICTURES?????? BECAUSE WE ARE # 0NE !!!! This happened when Uncle Bill was alive and now it is happening to me but with the support of my dear friends and customers I shall survive. Thank you all for your support.

That is it. There aint nothing unusual here. HI is the one to compare to, the one to copy, complain about, attack, mimic, belittle, moan and fuss about.

It's a compliment. It's Karma. No sense getting too mad about it. If competitors weren't comparing themselves to HI, HI would not be the wonderul business and forum event it is.

Good stuff and thanks.

Aardvark?

You've GOT to get rid of that rubber computer.

Neat, Yangdu. I was hearing Bill not being upset by the use of the pictures. Now I hear your voice. Neat.

Someone could contact the hosting company that owns this network address... Surprisingly, it's in the U.S.

Can't blame 'em for trying to make a living, can blame 'em for being dishonorable thieves. Wish I could get my hands on 'em, but that's just the anger talking, they'll reap what they sow. In the words of an Irish friend, "I curse the bastards to be afflicted with itching and no hope of scratching".

What gets me is they have the nerve to put a Copyright notice on the same screen with pictures of HI knives and swords we have been looking at for years!

What a bunch! Send them $ for that horn handled M43 and you'll probably get a 9" bilton with "India" stamped on the pot metal blade...

I just hope noone throws away their hard earned money thinking they will get what is pictured...I'm glad to hear that emails sent bounce back, at least for now they can't seem to accept money.

True.

There is a way to protect pictures from "right clicking" but I'm not sure how to do it. Also if anyone here knows how, you can inbed a watermark into/over any photos as well. I don't know what all is involved with that either.

There you have it: my .02$, and when you figure in that I proposed work for everyone else with no advice on how to do it, I reckon I owe you money instead;) :D
