Note: This knife is co-owned by Jaiofspam and myself.
___________

Royal Dhankuta Kothimora by Kami Bura. Rare spotted deer horn handle, and full silver bolster and pommel. Scabbard is the traditional leather covered wood, which in this model is then covered by hand with pure silver. HI logo on silver chain across the scabbard, and gold crossed kukri emblem on the front. There is a tremendous amount of detailed handwork here, and more silver across the back and sides than on later versions.

Small karda and chakmak companion knives in antler, hang in a leather pouch on the back of the scabbard. Small dent in silver on front tip of the scabbard.

This dhankuta is 12" OAL and 11 oz. Never used, carried or sharpened. Bought new from HI in 2004 and pre-UB marked by Bura.

Every one of these sold by HI went for $275. They are for the kukri collector who wants a beautiful ceremonial display kukri, although it is also fully functional. It did not come with one, but I will include a hardwood display stand with purchase.

Priced at SOLDwhich includes insured priority shipping in the CONUS. PayPal preferred and I pay the fees. Please PM me here if interested.

Thanks for looking.

Norm

I'll take it if it's still available.

Best Regards,
Ted

Ted, very sorry for the delay! Been offline till now for the holiday. You got it, and it will go out tomorrow. I'll respond to your email with mine, which is my PayPal address.

Thanks again,

Norm

I'll stand next in line -- Just let me know if it somehow hasn't found a home.

Thanks Ross, but it looks like Ted snagged it. I do have a nice CAK up though that I'll make you a nice deal on! (And that one is impossible for Canada mail to break.:D)
