While people were distracted by the mores in the hunting thread, Jake scooped up the skean dhu. Fine tactics with a good sense of timing.

Neat to get the first of any new HI. Well, there were prototypes of the skean dhu, but this is the first production one for general sale... I think. Norm? Yvsa? I'm not positive.

Git 'r done Jake :thumbup: I already know you'll like it, but please share your thoughts once you get it. I've got a feeling that once everybody that want's one gets their hands on the commemorative version, an unmarked, or simply marked version, would sell robustly enough to become a regularly stocked item.

Yep, this could be considered the first production for sure. Good snag Jake! I'd like to get one in horn someday as well. Looks nice.

Once i figure out the new cam (and can find where the Mrs put it), i'll be sure to take a lot of pics (poor as they may be) and give a good write up. Something dedicated to a man like Rusty deserves a good write up (or at as good of one as i can muster).
I've loved this design ever since i bought my cold steel version, but it's without soul. I'm really looking forward to this one.

I agree, that would be cool. I'm very glad to get the commemorative version, but a regular satin finished one sans script would be nice as well.

quick question, there was some talk of a waiting list for these, any more information on just such a list? Then I might get a chance to purchase one in a timely manner instead of coming home from work to find the sharks have scarffed them all up! Inquiring minds REALLY want to know!
