HI swords

This a is Mini Tarwar by Bura with a Cold Steel Master Tanto next to it for comparison. This is my most valued HI piece. It is Perfect.

Oh nice, they make mini versions of the tarwar? Another item to add on my "to buy" list...

I well remember this being offered on a DOTD and I truly believe that a blade can pick the right owner, and through experience that the right owner hears the blade calling out to them. In this case, all went as was meant to be.

I hope my 'perfect' short sword calls and I hear it sooner than later. Maybe if more of this style of sword of the same weight and length were made it may be what calls to me. Or maybe it lies elsewhere. Whatever the case, I count myself blessed by having my perfect Khukuri. Maybe that is all I need.;)

I think we are very fortunate, indeed, my friend :)

Your account:

-$200

:D

Consider it as good as bought!

it looks from this post that you are thinking that i would buy one - but -

oh i wasn't asking because i wanted to buy one i was just curious as to what it looked like

i am surprised that you would think i would buy a large piece of sharp steel like that Uddha sword

I thought you would know i was being sarcastic -- actually C.S. Graves was right on = my account would drop as i dished out the funds (if i had them ) for an Uddha if i could find one

Your sarcasm made me smile and motivated me to repost the video link. I pretty much figured you'd love Uddhas. They are uncommon on DOTD but not hen's tooth rare. Don't see them much on the sale forums either. Mine are Keepers, only made more so because they're both made by Master Bura. I gave one made by Vim to my instructor a few years ago. It was the 1st HI anything that I bought. Hope you find one soon, or it finds you:)

Though relatively new here, I've seen thread of many a blade you've sharked already... congrats!

I thought sharked means waiting ahead of time. Like prowling and then sneaking in for the kill -- mine were by accident:rolleyes:

ok -- then dont have to be sneaky ? - cool - some i think i just got lucky - i have watched a few go buy wishing i had the funds - oh well there is always another time - besides i think my friends and neighbors are sometimes a little but worried about me :)

i still have time to figure out what model HI that i am going to get my son for a Christmas present

Though some of us that lose out on a DotD may ACCUSE the lucky shark of sneakiness. :D

If your son is teenaged or older, I'd say why not the 15" AK? It's practically the official HI "unit of measurement".

"Sneakiness" to me would be something like......
(Not that I haven't been tempted...;) )

This reminds me of the "psychic shark" we saw on here one time... someone apparently bought something up before it was posted or something along those lines. Tres Bizarre!

But the photobucket idea is a good 'un... for those of us without prescience.... or scruples. :D

The "Psychic shark" is a phenomenon of the vBulletin software, where the time stamps can be reversed, if the posts were made very close together. Basically, due to transmit speed, the second post posts before the first.

Probably saw the DOTD as soon as it posted and replied immediately.
