That is one beautiful Tarwar... I would of grabbed it myself but I ordered a Everest Katana, two necklaces, 12in AK, and a belt knife this past week alone. They are all actually presents for me :D.
I need a Tarwar and Short Tibetan to complete my HI sword collection. I hate to pass on this one but I wont have funds for another couple weeks.
Someone please buy this and save me from myself because I will end up buying it tomorrow if its still there.

Sorry GB, I can't help you out - I already have one of these tarwars by Kumar - it's a beautiful sword, and if I didn't already have one, I would have jumped on this one!

Nice grap!!

Question for the experts:

What are some of the +/- of the Tarwar vs the Tibetan sword?

Nice grab GB, I have the Tarwar that was done by Kumar and Sher together, and it's awesome! I even have the same handle, and it's very ergonomically comfortable.

wow, what a sword! that is really beautiful T_T. gurkha berserka, it's worth it to not have funds for a couple weeks to have that.

Taking the 12 days of Christmas/Khukuris serious.

I'm no expert.

The Tibetan is more pointy and probably more agile / fragile.
The Tarwar is heavier on the nose / slower but meaner.

I have my 2nd Tibetan coming my way and i was looking for a Tarwar cause i dont have one
Maybe we can swap when you get tired of your 2nd Tarwar

tarwar is a great blade for anyone, it is a good heavy brush machete/ fighter, a good one to carry instead of a machete; much more of a worker than any of the other swords imo

You're right, they are two totally different swords, pros and cons on both, just depends what you need it for, at the given time.

My wife is rocking one of those shawls today. Sooo soft and gorgeous. If you guys love your wives, you should buy her one:D

It feels and looks like it should cost 3 times as much.
