Hidden disk in Sebenza

Okay okay, I think I understand this
This is to prevent the OPPOSITE problem the Hinderer system solves.
The Hinderer prevents you from overlocking to far and springing apart the bar.
This is to prevent the lockbar from engaging too far in, so it's not as hard to unlock

From reading his post that is what I thought too, I just can't figure out how this disc is preventing it from engaging to far. This seems more like it serves the same purpose as the Hinderer stop, just done from the inside (cool idea really if that was the intention).

I am at a loss as to where "gull wing" went.

I have asked him questions in 4 different posts....[#'s 19, 25, 26 & 32].... trying to understand this........ no answer from him. I guess because he thoight he was being "played".... according to him. ????

Who knows.

Here is what I can tell...... without gull wing answering waht I have asked..

1. This does nothing at all to alter lock bar travel in the locked position.... Nothing..

2. This will prevent excess travel of the lockbar as you are unlocking.... if that is a problem for you.

3. IF, in the locked position the disc attached to the lockbar is contacting the partial cutout adjacent to the lockbar.... it Will prevent lockbar travel toward the spine side of the scales when squeezing hard.

IF however, the disc is not contacting this portion of the "cutout" it does absolutly nothing in the locked position. NOTHING at all.

This is what I have asked and would really like to know. The pictures do not show this.

The Machining and workmanship is Fantastic... IMO. That is for sure.

I really want to know what I asked to verify if it works or not.... :)

I'd like to do it if it does .....

Maybe silence is the answer. At the end of the day, we are pretty sure what's going on. But, someone is happy carrying a Seb, and that's all the really matters now isn't it?

yeah, I kinda figured we all know what he meant, it's just the words were confusing.
