hidden epoxy pins

I read somewhere that scales can be put on using epoxy "pins" that don't show. Any comments or suggestions on this? Thanks in advance.

Here how i do my hidden pins ,I tap the pin holes in the tang and screw in stainless bolts and cut to required length, drill the scales required depth then i reach inside hole and open up a pocket then epoxy everything togeather.I like this look on stag scales ..

that works great and
If you dove tail, you can do the same without
the screw and let epoxy form your pins. and I always
bisque the ends mating with the bolsters and or guard.
