I am going to attempt a hidden lanyard hole on my next project. I couldn't find any tutorials on how to make the void at the butt of the knife to allow the lanyard inside. This is how I was envisioning doing it though.
Clamp the scales to a sacrificial piece of wood. Drill an oversized hole starting from the centre of the wood which will slightly cut into the scales. Then clean up the scales with sandpaper. I made an illustration with my plan.
If there is an easier or better way to do this I would love to hear it. Thanks
