Hidden Tang 5160 Combat

Here is the precursor blade I developed into my Grunt combat knife. I finally finished it and kind of like the results.

This one is a hidden tang, 5160 steel blade with a differential heat treat. The handle is black canvas micarta with a bead blasted nickel silver guard, and pins.



1/4" thick 5160
Blade 5.75"
OAL 10.5"

I am thinking of adding this to my lineup.
 
Tom, great looking knife! If I were going in harms way I'd want to have that with me!
