Good evening knife community. This all around camper/hunter sports a bolster I made for the knife that came out nicely. I love brass and with red best of all. The beaten brass is fun to do, and I got a good fit with the blade. The maple is vintage and well cured. It has a very functional all around blade and will be a fine knife for its perfect owner. It's cool when things work out like that. A kydex sheath with belt clip is included with this knife.
Specs:
Flat grind 8670 3/16" stock heat treated at the Paul Bos shop to my requested 59-60rc.
OAL 8 5/16" Blade 3 1/2"
Subtle Bling: brass and red g-10 bolster made in the Broken Branch shop. Red g-10 pin. I think the red dot looks just
right. The maple has a glossy yet not slippery finish.
