Hidden Tang INFI?

OK--- Yes, like the Basics but with G-10 and Micarta. These Busses would be way cool and a step up. I don't think this will fly though because the hidden tang design would compromise strength. Thanks!

Yes, the Res C handled Basic's do have hidden tangs.....but it would be wonderful to see a Boss Street with a hidden tang and one piece linen handle....much lighter and more comfortable....great for a small knife....and would not compromise strength for the purpose and use of such size of knife.....

Thanks Peter. The strength thing would be a big issue, don't you think?

The Basic's have never suffered....if hidden tangs are done well....they work great....

Khukri's....Scandi's....Pukko's all have hidden tangs and are great comfortable users....all well regarded on "toughness"......

A hidden tang KZ would save loads of weight....

Look at the big bowies, camp knives, and choppers that the forging smiths make. Almost always with a hidden tang. No strength problems there, when properly done

Well now, G-10 and Micarta HT's might be an interesting offer from Busse. I've always liked the fact that the hidden tang is completely protected from the elements.

Somebody (Will York ?) has a re-handled B-5, think it was stag, with a hidden tang

couldn't find the post.

NOPE not at all!!! Never seen a hidden tang have the strength of the full tang. I want buy several knives that are out there cause I can't stand skeletons either. I do have a couple SYKW and SRKW w/res-C, but they are not used for heavy nothing. Just used as a knife, to cut with. GIVE ME FULL TANG any day!!! Yes I know of the DFCG rep. DON'T matter cause if I don't trust it then I'm not secure in what I MAY need in a situation at a given time. When I leave the house I always plan for the worst...

I know of a TANG that is hidden............................where is Ban anyhow ?:)

Ban's last name is Tang noobs :p
