Hidden tang slot carbide guide
This tool is perfect guide for making a hidden tang slot in a 1 piece handle.
The carbide is 30x30mm and has a slot of 3mm wide.
With a flat surface and one rougher finished surface.
Just simply glue the rougher side to the handle block with ca glue.
Now you can drill/mill out the tangslot.
I prefer to drill a couple of holes first. Then with an extra long endmill you can deepen the hole aswell as sideways mill it out. This can be done on the normal drill press by hand.
