Hola everybody! Quite a while back this style from below the equator caught my eye so here’s another Gaucho blade up for your consideration. Hope you like it!

80CRV2 - Dimensions - 5/32”” x 11 11/16” OAL and 7” from tip to bolster and the height is 1 1/2”. There’s even filework on the spine for a little latin flare! Hand sanded to 1200 grit for a clean satin finish. Paul Bos Heat Treat to 60/61. Balance is at the front of the bolster, the edge was near sharp before sharpening. The spine is well rounded for a comfortable thumb.

The handle features elk, bocote and leather with G10 spacers finished to 1200 grit and buffed. The bolster is stainless steel, brass, copper and thin red fiber finished to 2000 grit and buffed. It’s pretty shiny! The pommel area is hollowed down and filled with powdered turquoise/clear epoxy.

The premium sheath features the real Gaucho man and is a snug fit with great retention yet easy to deploy. So even if you’re not gonna go Gaucho’ing anytime soon this would still make a terrific BBQ blade and be right at home anywhere knives are used.

Wow! You really pulled out all the stops on this showpiece. The bolster and blade are my favorite part on this spectacular knife. Oh yeah, I forgot the sheath, too. Amazing work on all counts.

Very cool, like the bolster with the spacers, do not see that often. The sheath just completes the overall theme.

Thanks Jack, Cbach and Grady for your kind compliments, It really means a lot!

I have spent a lot on knives here lately.
I go in spurts.
I really like that knife though. It's almost like a chefs knife isnt it?
And do you make the sheaths for your knives?

Hi, yeah I guess many knives we think of as outdoors got their start in food prep. Bowie was supposed to be a butcher knife for example. This would be right at home on the grill. I do make my own sheaths.
