Hello Folks, This is a bit of an experiment. I have done another similar to this I called the Hideout special because in size and profile it was somewhere between a Loveless style Hideout and a New York Special. This time I changed the handle and made the blade a little shorter. Hope you like it. Half the fun is trying something different.
Blade is CTS-BD1N. .157 thick and 3.05 tip to bolsters. O/A is 7.95. Heat treated with cryo quench and double tempered. Tang is tapered and hollow ground.
Bolsters are CF held tight with .093 bronze welding rod.
Handle is Black G10 with .014 yellow G10 liners, 416 corby rivets and lanyard hole.
Sheath is hand stitched 8-9 ounce leather. The knife fits very nice and snug yet is easy to withdraw without pulling the sheath with it off the belt or boot.
