Guy & Vickie Hielscher, he the knifemaker and she the scrimshander from Alliance, NE finished this custom order and asked me to photograph it. When I was done messing around with it I couldn't help but think that if I was a young soldier shipping out to some dangerous place far from home, I'd want to take this knife. It would give me hope. Don't ask me to explain why, I don't know why - it just would.
