I've noticed several CRK guys are also fans of high end guns. Lets see em together!

I'll Start
Wilson Combat CQB TAC LE, CRK Green Beret, GA Precision Sniper rifle AICS chassis.

When you start off with a pic like that one showing such nice stuff I'm thinking that you may have laid your trump card down before this great thread idea gained momentum :D

Very nice gear, very nice!

I'll take a pic of some of my stuff and try to post it tomorrow, although it won't touch that WC 1911 or that sweet bolt gun set up.

Nice setup High-Gear!

X-Tac with the Mighty Zaan

I'd love to send the Zaan into Wilson Combat for a black Armor-Tuff finish and get a spare pair of Zaan pivots (old pivot of course) to inset into the grips in place of the sterling silver medallions. That would be a sweet WC-CRK combo since the cross hatch pattern on the Zaan's scale matches the slide treatment on the X.

I changed the lanyard on the Zaan (my Daughter laced it for me) and now it sports a Chad Nichols .45 ACP titanium damascus bead.

I wish CRK would craft a fixed blade like the Green Beret, except with a profile exactly like the Zaan's blade, except much, much larger. If Mr. Reeve ever decided to build such a beast, I'd buy it in a heartbeat; and, it would serve as a full time companion to my LWRC 7.62 REPR.

Well I won't be able to keep the Wilson Combat theme going but I'll add another LWRC to the mix. My stuff probably won't be considered high end but it definitely wasn't cheap, I'll give it a go anyway, hope you all enjoy the toys.

First is an LWRC M6A2 with a Trijicon ACOG TA01NSN riding it bareback along with some other add ons. It's accompanied by a Wilson Combat StarTac ( it's my way of getting in on the WC theme so far even though it's a CRK ).

Zoomed out a little with bad lighting. Don't mind the Ultratech II, you guys who know how to photoshop can black it out since it's a CRK thread.

Next up is a Springfield Armory Socom 16 being rode by an Aimpoint T1 Micro while its wearing a Troy Industries MCS ( Chassis/Stock ) in FDE. It's accompanied by a Sig Scorpion Carry 1911 in FDE, a CRK Tanto Umnumzaan, and a Coal Creek Forge Poll Hawk.

Next up is the so called "enhanced" ACR accompanied by 4 of my CRK's.

This one is one of my absolute favorites, it's a PWS AR Pistol in 5.56 accompanied by another of my favorites, another CCF hawk in Damascus.

Last in line is a Benelli M1 Super 90 accompanied by the Coal Creek Forge Damascus Poll Hawk and one of my Glocks.

i'm so jealous of everything in this thread! I think I may have to borrow a nicer gun just to post a picture here. Really awesome setups yall!

Wow, what a bunch of nice shooters! Those Hawks are pretty sweet as well! Now I've gotta go dig out my Troy / Rock SOPMOD M-14! But which plade to go with it, hmmmm! :)

Thank you for the kind words, now go and dig out that SOPMOD I wanna see it! :D

Get ahold of Steve at Coal Creek Forge, he's a great guy, prices are great, and he made my Hawks very quickly. I haven't had a chance to use them much yet but they made short work of a couple of 2x4's the day I received them. I can't wait to get some more time with them in the woods.

I know Blackend has a very sweet Wilson Combat that he custom ordered, shooting it made me want one badly, they're amazing guns. Maybe he'll post a pic of his, I'll call him and bug him about it.

Thank you very much!
I'm pretty fond of your X-tac, would love one with a 4 1/4 inch bull barrel.
I also like your REPR, is it as bad ass as everybody says they are?

I really like your idea of a Zaan bladed Green Beret, that would be a very impressive knife. I'll be on the waiting list if they ever produce it.

Thanks! Wilson probably offers more options than any other manufacturer, but a true commander size pistol isn't one of them. The X is available in 4" or 5".

The REPR screams quality through and through. Haven't done any long range precision shooting, but it's got a great trigger, the side charging handle & bolt are butter smooth, and considering the additional weight that's inherent with a piston rifle, the 16" version handles pretty well. But, I'm glad I don't have to hump this thing around.:)

I would pay stupid money for a Zaan-like Green Beret, even moreso if Mr. Reeve made a combination set to include a Zaan-like bayonet version. I stumbled upon a Spartan Horkos - Flat Black Fixed Blade, that's calling my name. It's profile is Zaan-like, just wish it were a CRK. :D

I feel the same way about my Socom although I do carry it while Deer hunting because I don't care if it gets scratched by a twig or sits with me in the snow, stopped carrying my nice deer rifles cause I get made that the finish gets messed up ;D
It's about 11 1/2 pounds as it sits in the pic, a bit much for walking around, I'm hoping to get a PWS MK214 or 16 if things go back to normal to use as my go to .7.62.

You keep coming up with great ideas, a Zaan bladed bayonet would be kick ass! I'd be on the waiting list for one of those too.

I'd prefer the 4 inch, just thought that they did 4 1/4 for some reason. I like their finish, seems crazy durable!

Those Spartan blades are quite sexy, are you going to get it.

I got nothin on these sweet rifles. My small contribution to the Wilson theme tho.

There she is!
One of the best .45's I've ever had the pleasure to lay my grubby mitts upon, what a sweet shooter.

Now post a pic of those high end knives of yours Bro.

Wilson's Armour-Tuff is very durable. I don't holster mine, but I dont baby it at the range either and I rarely ever hear anyone complain about it. I'm just really not a huge fan of spray-on coatings and much prefer the luster of traditional bluing. But as coatings go, WC's AT & Ed Browns GENIII are exceptional; aesthetics, durability and rust prevention, those coatings do it all. My hands down favorite is Colt's Royal Blue; it's both memorizing and stunning, I believe WC's Baron Blue is comparable.

I'd love to get a Spartan Horcos, but I went a little overboard on my last 1911, so I'm going to need some time for my finances & Wife to recover.:D

I couldn't have said it better and wouldn't change a word. A few of my older handguns are dear to my heart as much for their rich and deep blueing than for any other reason. Parkerizing, spray/bake, and matte finishes are great for working guns and projects; the things that are meant for heavy use. I know that blueing can last a long time but I tend to cherish a gun with it a lot more, it's a show piece, night stand, range, occasional play gun, not one I drop on the ground, truck bed, or table when picking up the rifle for its turn.

I know what you mean, luckily my Wife is very understanding, but I definitely don't over do it with the big purchases- that often :D
I have two more rifles that I want, then maybe a lightweight lightrail professional with a bobtail and all bulletproof parts ;D

Actually, my Wife is incredibly understanding and supports all my obsessions. She likes to go shooting too and really likes all my guns and knives; she's even got a couple of her own.

What other rifles are on your radar? Your railed Sig looks like it'll get the job done, but I'll admit, a bobbed lightweight railed Pro would be nice too. I have a 4" railed Kimber Pro that serves as my nightstand gun; it's not bobbed, but I did swap in an Arched Mainspring Housing with magwell, that gives it great balance And compliments the additional forward weight of the railed bull barrel.

You're a very lucky man!
My Wife will occasionally shoot but it's by no means a passion for her.

I'm hoping that I can pick up a pair of PWS rifles. A MK 214 ir 216 which is their 7.62 AR style piston rifle. The 14 or 16 denote barrel length and the 2 denotes that it's the 7.62. They're lighter than my Socom 16 and are very accurate and reliable weapons. They take Pmags which I like, and are lighter than any other similar rifle that I've found with a balance that mimics a DI rifle. The days of the front heavy piston gun are gone.

I'm also hoping to get their MK 114 or 116, the 1 denotes that it's a 5.56(223 Wylde) and the 14 or 16 represent the barrel length.
I want that gun for the same reasons and have considered selling my M6A2 to fund the purchase, blasphemy I know, but the PWS just has a better balance in a lighter rifle that can do the same thing for less money. I find that very hard to argue with.

The Sig is a nice piece, nicer than stock after Blackend adjusted the trigger a bit for me and we polished the trigger bars to smooth it out a bit. I was going to buy another Kimber, a Pro Covert, but grabbed the Sig while I could find one. Yours is a very nice pistol, do you run a light on it?

I dropped a new trigger in my old MFOURgery that my buddy bought from me, it turned out bolt gun good. I should've taken a pic of it while it was here for this thread. Maybe I'll have him send me one.
