Had no idea that one of my LGS's sold Spartan Blades. So, I snagged an Horkos and here it is with my Zaan and X-Tac.

I really dig the similarities in the shape of the Horkos and Zaan blades.

That Horkos fits in perfectly with the Zaan and the WC X-Tac, I had a feeling that you wouldn't wait to long to get it :D
Congrats, it's a sweet knife!
Great pic as well, thanks for sharing.

Thanks Able1! I went to my LGS to pickup some 30-30 ammo; I can't believe they didn't have any, apparently the panic has drilled all the way down to the depletion of lever-gun ammo too - Wow, this is crazy. So, while I was there, I decided to take a look at their blade section, because they normally have a myriad of decent blades. I couldn't believe they had like 6 Spartan blades, so I was powerless to resist the Horkos.

The scales on the Horkos are very comfortable, but I do prefer the beafier scales on the CRK fixed blades. Don't really have much use for a fixed blade these days, heck, a Case Trapper is more blade than I need.:). But, I love the profile of the Horkos, just wish I could put some honest wear on it, like High Gear's fixed blades, they look sweet with wear marks. Might have to remodel the utility room with the Horkos.:D

Hsc,
That P7M8 is sweet, the best pistol designed by someone other than JMB in my opinion!

US Steel,
I too think the ZAan looks much like a Spartan blade, which is why I dig it. I think you have a nice set there.

It's funny isn't it, they put plastic furniture and write Zombie in green on the side of the old model '94 and all if a sudden you can't get any ammo in 30-30, I wouldn't have believed it if you had told me so two years ago but one great tv show and a re election have proved that anything is possible. I saw .22 ammo going for .75 a round, now that's crazy!

I'll consider myself lucky that there are no local stores that carry decent knives or I too would often fall victim to the desire that overcame you when out shopping.
I don't need as much knife as I carry but I "NEED" as much knife as I carry, I can't help myself, I always have to have a sweet blade on me.
If you end up getting some fine character on that Horkos please post a pic, I like to see well used knives like High Gears GB.

I agree on the well used knife point! I've been trying to "accidentally" get a few scars on my Sebenza. I'm totally outclassed here, but I'll try to take a picture soon to contribute to my most frequently checked thread on bladeforums (e.g. this one).

I'm looking forward to the pics.
Just try not to make my toys look too bad, the other guys are already killing my collection ;P

Alright, you win !

Those are Gorgrous Colt's, thank you for sharing that amazing collection with us. I have had the opportunity to fondle a couple of the fine blued 1911's and a 1952 Woodsman Match Target over the years, their deep blue is beautiful.
I really like the display, great pic.

My favorite platform.
How do you like the E2 grips? They were comfortable enough but made the grip too slim for my tastes. I went with the original screw-on grips. I'll have to post a pic of my P229 with my new 25 when it gets here.

I like them, they are a little small but very grippy without being too rough. Also my 25 came in and I’m very happy with it.

Here's my Oveready host running a 1400 lumen TorchLAB drop in, my small Insingo, and my Kimber Compact CDP II.

I really like your gear.
I had a Kimber Ultra Raptor, loved that gun, should've never let it go. I have both the large and small Insingo's, they're two of my favorite knives. I don't know much about your light but 1400 lumens in a light that small is amazing; I bet it's a stunner at night.

Thanks for sharing.

Actually, out of that host, it's 'only' putting out about 1000 lumens, two batteries gives it full output.

But here it is on just one battery! http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?352418-Share-your-Oveready-Beamshots

Love the Raptor. I put on a set of G10 VZ Aliens in Black Desert Sand and bolted on an Ed Brown Chainlink Main Spring Housing & Maxi-well. The Chainlink & Aliens flow well with the Raptor's Front Strap and Slide treatment. It gets quite a bit of range time, but cleans up nicely with the polished flats.

You have great taste!
I was going to put a set of Alien's on mine, I first saw them on a Nighthawk and really liked the Roman column look and the thought that they'd go we'll with the scalloping; now I see that they're AWESOME with it.
I called EB to see if they had a Chainlink msh for the Ultra but they don't make them that small :(
Your Raptor is PERFECT! Thanks for sharing. Ill check to see if I have a pic of mine but you can always find it on my YouTube channel which is the same as my username here.
If I did it right, here's a link to one of my vids on it.
