I've been spending the past few months sort of "refining" my collection so to speak and I think I've reached a point where I am happy with it. I decided to sell/trade most of my lower-end knives since I really just wasn't using many of them. Almost all of that money went towards funding some higher end purchases. While my collection has dramatically downsized, I am actually happier with these few knives that I REALLY enjoy. I still have some of my less expensive knives to use as beaters (and some have sentimental value) but from now on, I think most of my purchases are going to be higher end knives only a few times a year if that. So, here is what it has all amounted to. Not a large or very diverse collection but I like it.
