High end folder suggestion request.. With a twist.

I just picked up a Microtech Tachyon II. It's a quality piece, for less than $300, at the moment. The standard blade is excellent for EDC.

If you can find a Kershaw Volt 3600, they are an RJ Martin design, and being made by Kershaw, are outstanding quality.

Otherwise, I'd just reprint Bladechick's post, as I completely agree with her whole list.
 
Finally getting a Custom Folder from Bob Dozier made my Sebenzas obsolete.

Solid list already but one not mentioned is the Curtiss knives F3.. Although the curze is sweet too!
 
I did consider this. But that is a ton of money for me to drop on a folder I cannot even handle first.

Have you looked at Klotzli? They can be hard to find but one of their Sailor models might fit the bill. The only one I've seen lately is on a certain auction site. Beautiful knife, not a heavy user, a little more gentlemanly.

And I know you said no Striders- and I never thought I would suggest one- but I have recently fallen in love with them.

Or Fantoni. Most of their models are in or under the $300 range.
