High end folding tactical knife companies

Is there a better folder in it's size range XM-18 3.5" blade or as good?

I'm getting this knife for my son for his 4th deployment (3 Iraqs and now Afghanistan) and these are impossible to get. I've been promised one but I'll believe it when it's in my hands.

Good book, but that guy also said he had a need for a knife to defend his life. Maybe his story wouldn't have been such a close call, if he had a knife? He had time to retrieve it.

Dont forget Pohl Force. In terms of looks they're as tactical as they can get, theyre built very well and they represent extremely good value.
