For those of you that know me, you know I am a stickler for high quality regardless of cost.

Do any of you have any suggestions for some high end throwing knives?

Rat Finkenstein recommended these knives over in the Busse forum:

They look pretty cool. I was also checking out the Cold Steel True Flight and the Torpedo, which I may order as well.

I want to get a set of 6 and a custom 6 slot sheath made.

Any other suggestions?

there is a throwing knife forum here as well. This thread might get moved there.

I have used the Cold Steel True flight, bought one for my little brother a while back, and was not impressed. For matching throwers right now I am using SKS spike bayonets which are very durable and stick deep. have 15 I got for $3 apiece. can't remember the name of the store.

Of course, the Cold steel throwers are not "high end"

try these:

Bobby Branton's knives are excellent. Cold Steel might not be great, but they are priced right (shop around, prices vary widely).

I've got some knives made from Aldo's (from knifemaker's forum) 1075 steel.

I've got one of hbforge knives, it's a nice thrower, but I wouldn't call it 'High End'. Bobby Branton's knives are more like it, or Muller Vipers or Patrick's Pierce-Arrow throwers
