I've had the idea to do a full, wire Damascus dagger for awhile...well, I finally finished it. I love doing daggers. This one is a bit different from what I've done in the past but, that's what I love about knifemaking. Anything is a possibility. I hope you like it.

This dagger has a 7 3/4" blade of wire/cable damascus with an overall length of 13". The guard is wire/cable damascus with file work and curled tips with the forge marks in tact on the tips. The threaded pommel is also file worked wire/cable damascus. The handle itself is stabilized "dusty purple" Tiger Maple wood with alternative ivory ends and nickle-silver/black spacers. The leather blade sheath, by Tess, has double "ivory" ostrich skin inlays on both sides of the sheath.
Price, with leather sheath: $500.00, plus shipping

Visa, MasterCard and Paypal are all fine and your satisfaction is always guaranteed.

Thanks for the kind words from all.

Mike, I finish my damascus down to 800 grit on the belt and then mirror polish with green chrome. Then, after cleaning the blade with acetone, I etch with ferric chloride for 7-10 minutes, pull it out and spray the blade with Windex w/ ammonia, rub it down with some 0000 emery and take a look at it. I repeat this process usually 3-5 times until I get the look I want. Feel free to drop me a note if you have any questions at all.

I just feel that it bears pointing out that a damascus dagger of this quality is a STEAL at this price. Good work, J. Whoever snags this one is lucky indeed.
