Hi again everybody. Those of you that follow this forum may remember my high marks for Joe Houser of Buck Knives. Well, here I am again, with another recommendation. I don't have lots of time today, so I'll keep things short.
In the last couple of months I've been dealing with a company named High Performance Cutlery, and specifically, a gentleman named Michael Sporer. I purchased a CUDA EDC from him first, and he had it to me in two days, free shipping. Long-story-short, the CUDA EDC did not fit my desires, and also was a factory defect. I assure you that this was not discernable NIB; The defect did not show up for 2-3 weeks.
In the mean-time, my wife got the itch for something tactical but gentle-womanly; (Is that a word? Should be!). In correspondance with Mr. Sporer, he immediately agreed on a full refund on the lemon-CUDA, and then went out of his way to procure a Kershaw BlackOut for my wife, and got it to us in about 7-10 days, free shipping. Not bad, for a knife that he normally does not carry! I payed a minimal difference in price only, as the Kershaw is a few dollars more.
I'm more than impressed with his customer service at all levels. He communicates via e-mail at all hours of the night and on weekends, and he never forgets to let you know every detail. "I got the CUDA back today", "The BlackOut is on the way", etc. No prompting, he remembers his customers. I've spoken to him on the phone as well, early on; he's reachable.
I've since ordered a duplicate BlackOut for myself, I expect it via USPS today or tomorrow. (Darn things are fun as heck to play with). Wife's always got hers with her, darnit).
Anyways; I'm not sure if advertising is allowed by the moderators for a third-party, but I'm going to include the URL here: (It may get taken out, but...)

Kudos to Mr. Michael Sporer & High Performance Cutlery
Thanks all,
