So I just got a Salt 1 yesterday and I have to say out of the 24 Spyderco's I own this one is the sharpest knife I have ever seen right out of the box. It feels like the edge on a razor blade.
If you haven't put one of these in your hand yet, I highly recommend it. The blade shape is great and its light as a feather. The clip shape makes it a little hard on your pocket. That's the only negative thing I can find with this knife. Truly a winner that will be seeing a lot of pocket time.
