High Standard Schneider & Glassick Gun & Knife Set
Commemorative reproduction by High Standard - a Schneider and Glassick 36 caliber Navy percussion revolver and matching serial numbered D Guard Bowie designed by Jim Dickson. This set is probably circa mid-1970's. (Thanks Herbieduke.)

The Bowie is close to mint condition and has (I believe) a black micarta handle. Revolver has beautiful wood grips but has some corrosion in the brass. The blue is nice and deep with only a few minor pits in one area only.

If you are interested, I'll try to capture more detail in the photos.

I believe these sets came out in 1976. Pistol and D-Guard were very well made. Any idea as to what metal the knife is made of?

Thanks for the info on the date of manufacture. I'll edit the post to reflect this.
I have no idea about the steel and have not been able to confirm if it's something from the 400 series or another variety.
