Highest Quality Spyderco Model?

Surprised no one has said the new Caly 3 yet. The F&F on mine is downright amazing. Perfect lockup and buttery smooth operation.

I'd vote for the Manix as my favorite. However, there's been some discussion/debate between the Golden vs. Seki models. It seems a matter of preferrence, but I'd lean towards the Seki models for general fit and QC. I know the Golden knives have made strides, but the Sekis are mighty fine knives IMHO (just a hair better).

caviat: (exceptions lay on both sides of the argument).

It's hard for me to choose the Best fit and finish. I would add to the list JD Smith. For some reason nobody mentioned this one yet...
It looks and feels perfect!
WhyNot

Which models in particular have had the least ammount of blade play and the best fit and finish?

Several of my Spydercos have no discernable blade play either horizontal or vertical. For a smaller folder, I'd say mini-Persian and for a larger folder it would defiitely be the Manix - one of the most rock solid folders I've handled.

I have 14 Spydercos (from GIN-1 to ZPD-189), on that basis the best f&f that I have is on the Big Dyad and the on the CF S30V Military.
But sincerely, the race is very hard among the first 8-10...

For fit and finish, the knives made by Moki in Seki City(Persian, Kris, Kopa) are second to none.

I've had many Spyderco knives and the quality and F&F ranged from perfect to average. There is a huge variation between models, materials, eras, ect. With that being said, if I had to pick just one, I would pick my large micarta Caylpso as the best. It is the smoothest, best looking, best fit, and in general most perfect Spyderco.

There are others that are probably just as good like the Kopas, Stretch, and Manix but the micarta of the Caylpso seems more polished and refined than anything with G-10.
