Highest VALUE, hard-use folding knife (~3-4" blade length)

I should add, I'm not really looking to buy a knife. I just wanted to start some discussion and hear some of your thoughts. However, I won't rule out another knife purchase if you guys have something great to tell me about ;)

Personally, I don't consider liner lock knives to be in the hard-use category. That's just my opinion, so feel free to continue to bring them up when they fit your needs.

Look at the ontario rat 1 under 30 and widely regarded by members here. Its as much as eating out fast food for two!

This is one of my favorite knives and also my cheapest, it's a must have IMO. Very smooth pivot with no play and easy to maintain the edge.

EDIT: I get the liner lock/hard use thing but I use my knives pretty hard and have never had an issue with the RAT 1.

I've been considering a BM MPR, but costs more than $100. Looks like a little tank with a 3" blade.

I have a model 755. It's great steel, M390, but the folder feels like a concrete block in your pocket, and the clip rips your Levis right off your body.
